Enjoy Flax Pond Conservation Land in Dennis with Your Four-Legged Friend

Flax Pond Conservations Lands are a great spot to enjoy nature with your dog. Google Maps.

If you are looking for a great walk to take with your four-legged friends, then check out Flax Pond Conservation Lands in Dennis, a very dog-friendly area.

The area is right on the Dennis-Yarmouth line off of Setucket Road and it is a true gem, even for people who don't have pets!

The parking area is tucked in, but still visible from the road. The trail leads back along a short wooded path to the pond, a beautiful fresh water, swimable spot. The beach is small, but it has its own charm. Dogs will love running around and playing fetch (as well as getting wet!).

There are two different ways to go once you hit the pond, left or right. Follow either trail for a nice walk through the woods (bring some bug spray).

This is a perfect spot to spend a few hours exploring and enjoying the water, a rarity with the amount of beaches on the Cape that ban dogs in the summertime. And the parking is free!
